Recently 888 have been exposed as knowingly paying affiliates for promoting them using stolen content from other websites. The process is scraping which uses automated robots to steal other webmasters hard work and pass it off as their own. These rogue webmasters then use this stolen content to produce tens if not hundreds of websites. The scraped content helps the sites to get good search engine results and as such make money from someone else's hard work. This is theft and casts a shadow over the whole industry.

While most casino programmes take a very dim view on scraping and act quickly to ban the individuals responsible 888 are dragging their heels even on sites that have been directly reported to them.

888 will remain on this rogues page until they take a firm stance against site scraping and content theft.

Update

888 have had their CAP certification revoked due to not taking a firm stance on the matters of site scraping and blog spamming. They are condoning the theft of other people's work to promote their properties and so will continue to be classed as a rogue casino by this site.
